March begins with only one planet in the evening sky, Mars. Mars can be seen in the SW after dark as a semi-bright reddish star.
The morning sky boosts three planets. Look south just before dawn to see Jupiter shining brightly among the stars of the Summer Milky Way. To the left (SE) will be the ringed planet Saturn. Finally the brilliant morning sky, can be seen rising in the east just before the Sun.
